Distant Trains is a celebration of the folklore and heritage of trains in the United States.  Combining the familiar sounds of trains as they approach or are heard in the distance with American folk songs about train culture, this piece explores the wealth of instrumental textures available within the wind band.  It is perfect for concerts and festival/evaluation performances
