JAZZ ENSEMBLE CHARTS
Our jazz ensemble music is conceived and executed with the education of the individual musician as a foremost concern. As jazz performers often originate in the wind band world, these jazz ensemble pieces are carefully edited to provide as many clues as possible as to the content and performance practices appropriate for each style. You will notice a wealth of slurs and articulation markings in each piece, regardless of grade level. The reference recordings supplied will also help players to absorb these styles and generate authentic and engaging performances. New for 2018-2019 - guitar chord charts specific to each piece! For guitarists new to jazz chord voicings, a fretboard diagram is provided with the voicing also notated on a staff.
